Variety as a Banner

OLIVA

Oliva is the city of variety: diversity in landscapes, in the offerings it extends to visitors, in the services it provides, and in the heritage it has successfully preserved.
Variety in landscapes, as we blend the marine environment (a visit to the Pego-Oliva Marsh is essential) with splendid beaches and the distinctive scenery of coastal elevations, offering breathtaking views.

DISCOVER MORE ABOUT OLIVA

In the Historic District of Oliva we have a Moorish neighborhood (el Raval) with its narrow and winding streets. The Count’s Villa is also preserved, where the impressive palace of the Centelles and Riu Sech lords is located, along with the renowned ethnological museum and numerous heraldic houses.
Several routes have been designed to explore in depth the most interesting points of its diverse territory, whether on foot or by bicycle, both within the town itself and in the surrounding areas.
On another note, the city cyclically becomes the epicenter of sports activities in various disciplines. Among them, equestrian sports stand out, with several centers dedicated to this activity and the hosting of top-notch international circuits.
The population serves as the chosen stage for prominent athletes to carry out their training stays. Football clubs or cyclists can find an ideal base of operations. The favorable weather prevailing throughout the year is one of the reasons.
From our municipality, you can explore other areas of the Comunidad Valenciana, rich in history. This is the case of the nearby Gandía, a city united through the centuries with the Borja family.

Routes have been developed to explore the different sectors of the historic center: the Moorish Raval, the Count’s Villa, and the castle
