CIEZA

A Proposal for the Senses

CIEZA

We encourage you to discover our Blooming season, taking place between February and March, Holy Week, declared of National Touristic Interest; “The Invasion” Shield Festivals, the last weekend of April, and of course, our rich heritage: the Serreta Cave (World Heritage) with cave paintings and the Islamic site of Siyâsa, one of the most important in Western Islam.

Active and adventure tourism (hiking, via ferrata, river descent, climbing, etc.) is also one of our main attractions.

Our town and its surroundings have immense allure, a special charm, with “the Blooming” of its fields and orchards, which usually occurs between the second half of February and the end of March. Nature, Heritage, Sports, Music, and Gastronomy create an unforgettable experience for our visitors. During this brief period of spectacular landscapes that adorn orchards and fields with pink and white carpets of blooming trees, and under the theme “Burst of Color,” numerous activities are organized, with blooming taking center stage.

Guided tours through blooming fields, museums, and UNESCO heritage historical monuments, national sports events, concerts by renowned musicians, and a high-level gastronomic fair “SaborArte.” Everything is designed for the senses.

Cieza, the North Gateway to the Region of Murcia, surrounded by mountains and traversed by the Segura River, is MUCH MORE THAN WHAT MEETS THE EYE!
